Affectionately known as Woodmans, the Estate's restaurant is recommended by The Age Good Food Guide.
Dining at Woodman Estate provides many options. Enjoy formal dining, the elegant a la carte brasserie or the newly completed lakeside terrace.
Gourmet food is the order of the day. The best in local and seasonal produce from the region is complemented by the Estate’s extensive herb gardens.
Service levels are everything you’d expect of a five star establishment, with the Estate’s cellar brimful of wines from the acclaimed Mornington Peninsula, other regions of Australia and overseas.
A welcome additional to the culinary ranks of the Mornington Peninsula is David Sarfaty. Born in Melbourne and raised north of the border in Sydney, David's rich background and training includes fine dining with Louis Loizia in Sydney, the art of regional Italian cuisine in St Kilda and Sydney and, of course, the Byron Bay experience of Japanese fusion with Eki Takagi. This eclectic mix of cooking influences and culture provides the solid foundation for simply outstanding modern Australian cuisine.
A positive, thoughtful individual who adores his family, David will undoubtedly boost the the quality of dining available on the Peninsula. Reaquaint yourself with Woodman Estate by enjoying breakast, lunch or dinner on the delighful new "terrace" overlooking the water or better still, savour the "famous" Sunday High Tea. Everybody's welcome!
Enjoy simply magnificent views of the water. Wander through the gardens or around the lake between courses. There are a drawing room and billiards room for pre and post dining drinks.
Best of all, it’s the relaxed atmosphere at Woodman Estate that sets this dining establishment apart from others. Warm, welcoming and approachable, amidst professional and friendly service.
